Emergency Cold
Weather Shelter

The South Snohomish County Emergency Cold Weather Shelter in partnership with VOA provides a warm place to sleep and a hot meal to anyone when nights are cold.

We provide homeless individuals with safety, warmth, a full stomach and most of all, hospitality and compassion.

How the shelter works

  • Shelter opens on nights with weather below 34 degrees
  • Van transportation to the shelter is provided
  • Walk-ins are not permitted
  • Guests may arrive by car or bicycle to the shelter (before 10pm) and parking is available (Maple Park Church - 17620 60th Ave W, Lynnwood)
  • Guests may be dropped off by police or ambulance after 10pm
  • Anyone with non-prescription drugs, alcohol, or drug paraphernalia will not be allowed in
